Omega 3 fatty acids are among the classics dietary supplements. These include the polyunsaturated fatty acids which are essential. This means they can't be produced by the body and must therefore be supplied through the diet.
A good source of omega 3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) is fish oil, which is contained in this supplement. The bottle contains 365 softgels and can last for one year if used as indicated. Vitamintrend recommends one softgel daily. The softgels are made of gelatin and are easy to swallow.
Eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) classifies EPA and DHA as safe. The following health effects are confirmed by the EFSA:
