Traditional remedy from Ayurveda
Frankincense is a traditional remedy from Ayurveda. It is the gum resin of Boswellia serrata. The main components of this gum resin are boswellic acids and other compounds such as essential oils, terpinols, arabinose, xylose, galactose, uronic acids, beta-sitosterol and phlobaphenes.
