The Saw Palmetto Complex by Vitamintrend is a synergistic combination of a standardized saw palmetto extract, plant sterols from pine oil and other proven vital substances.
The capsules are standardized to 25% fatty acids.
VEGAPURE® pine oil contains 75% beta-sitosterol, which is one of the plant sterols. Vegapure® is a brand for plant sterols and sterol esters. Several clinical studies support the efficacy of Vegapure® raw materials.
Plant sterols, also called phytosterols, are fatty acids naturally made in plants.
Lycopene beadlets
The lycopene is exctracted from tomatoes and is encapsulated in beadlets. Beadlets provide effective protection from heat and light. Many substances are extremely sensitive to light and are not heat resistant. They oxidize in contact with air and thus lose their effect. This form of microencapsulation protects lycopene from oxidation and decay without the use of preservatives. Therefore, heat, oxygen and light cannot affect its quality. Only during digestion the beadlets dissolve and release lycopene.
Selenium and zinc
Selenium and zinc help protect cells from oxidative stress. In addition to this, selenium may support sperm formation and zinc may help maintain normal testosterone levels.
